This listing is for a gorgeous Tiffany FAVRILE Pastel Blue iridescent, opalescent Art Glass Compote, c. 1920's. The vivid peacock blue opalescent stretched glass edge shades to clear glass in the center with a clear pedestal base. Marked with etched signature "L. C. T. Favrile, 1700". Favrile glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's Aurene glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent/opalescent glass at the turn of the 20th Century.
Dimensions: 3 1/8" high with a top diameter of 5 1/8" and base diameter of 2 3/4".
Condition: Compote is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
