This listing is for a lovely Tiffany FAVRILE iridescent Art Glass footed salt cellar, c. 1900. The salt cellar has a rich silver iridescent coloration with soft amethyst, green and blue highlights. Marked "L. C. T.". "Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 1 1/2" high and 2 1/4" in diameter. Weighs 2.5 ounces.
Condition: This salt cellar is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
