19th Century English Sterling Silver vinaigrette with gorgeous reticulated (pierced) gilt internal cover and gold washed interior. Each side is decorated with engine-turned engraved decoration with a fancy cartouche in the center top engraved with fancy 3-letter intertwined monogram "E L R". Hinge is tight and box opens and closes correctly. Marked on the interior top and bottom with English hallmarks for Birmingham, Sterling, date letter for 1857 and with unidentified maker's initials "G W Co.".
Dimensions: 1 3/8" long, 1" wide and 3/8" deep. Weighs 15 grams.
Condition: Silver is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
