This listing is for a lovely 19th Century Sterling Silver teapot decorated with beautiful hand chased floral design, c. 1880. The teapot is marked on the base with an unidentified bell shaped American trademark stamp and "Sterling, 4400". No monograms.
Dimensions: 6" high, 9" wide (spout to handle) with a 4 1/2" diameter top and 3 1/4" diameter base. Weighs 490 grams.
Condition: This beautiful teapot is in very good Estate condition with the only noted flaws being minor damage to the heat spacers on the handle from normal use/age and there is one faint no-harm dent in the middle of the non-decorated area of the rounded body. The handle is tight and the teapot is very clean inside and is completely usable.
