This listing is for a beautiful 19th Century Sevres France porcelain bolted centerpiece/jardiniere with gilt bronze mount, c. 1880.
The porcelain body has beautiful hand painted floral panels alternating with the gilt decorated apple-green background color on the centerpiece section with the pedestal base being solid apple-green with heavy gilt decoration. The upper rim, center section and base are gilt bronze with antique patina. The top section is bolted through the pedestal stem and the bronze base.
We have not taken the piece apart to look for signatures or marks, however, the base is stamped "France" and the porcelain has many expected characteristics of Sevres porcelain.
Dimensions: 10" high, 11 3/4" long and 7 1/2" wide. Weighs 4.8 pounds.
Condition: The centerpiece is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
