Unusual Libbey Nash Art Glass pitcher in clear glass with vibrant violet wavy internal design from the 1930's. Glass is hand blown with paneled or ribbed design with attached clear glass handle. Pitcher was designed by Arthur Nash who was originally an employee of L. C. Tiffany prior to forming his own company and then later worked with Libbey Glass. Although the pitcher is unsigned, we have found identical pieces with the acid etched "Libbey" signature.
Dimensions: 8 3/4" high, 5 3/4" wide (from mouth to handle) with a 3" diameter base. Weighs just under 2 pounds.
Condition: Pitcher is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a small production bubble in the glass about 1/2" down from the rim and to the right of the handle that has a white substance inside. Again, this was from production and doesn't detract from the beauty of this nice pitcher.
