This listing is for a nice L C Tiffany FAVRILE gold iridescent Art Glass bowl, c. 1910. This beautiful dish has a deep bowl and wide outer edge. The vibrant gold iridescent glass body has highlights of purple, blue and green iridescence with more gold iridescence on the exterior and more blue iridescence in the interior bowl. Marked with etched signature "L C T, Favrile, 1561" on base. Favrile glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's Aurene glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
