This listing is for a GORGEOUS one-of-a-kind 14 K yellow Gold, Diamond encrusted designer violin brooch. This unusual diamond covered violin brooch features fifty-three (53) round brilliant cut pave set Diamonds measuring approximately 1.55 mm (smallest) to approximately 2.00 mm (largest) with a total diamond weight of approximately 1.25 carats. The diamonds are rated VS in clarity and G-H in color. Brooch is marked with 14 K gold stamp and unidentified maker's stamp. The pin back is unusual (see photos) with one-half of the pin back attached to the brooch itself and the other hinged to the first and opening out to the side. The hinge is good and the pin back opens correctly with both a bar pin closure and fixed bail. The brooch may also have been designed as a fur brooch due to the way it attaches. This unusual brooch was appraisal by the Atlanta Gemological Laboratories dated 2/10/17 with a value of $3950.00. Appraisal included.
Dimensions: The violin body of the brooch measures 1 3/4" long (not including the pin back) and is 1 5/8" at widest. Total weight of the brooch is 12.3 grams.
Condition: This unique brooch is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
