With customary pensive expression facing forward, wearing traditional cap of the day, incised "Dantes" across the base. Otherwise unsigned and unmarked. This is a known version having the kiln flaw on top of the head and several small holes to the face purported to have been bullet holes in the original from which this casting was taken. Late 19th/Early 20th Century.
