This is a simply stunning piece of French stained glass, there has been no restoration whatsoever and every piece is intact, no cracks or chips. The lead around the edges will pull a little if urged but it is in structurally very sound condition.

The subject is Eleanor of Aquitaine, Eleanor was Queen of France from 1137 to 1152 as the wife of King Louis VII, Queen of England from 1154 to 1189 as the wife of King Henry II, and Duchess of Aquitaine in her own right from 1137 until her death in 1204.

The stained glass is believed to be 1700s but could well be earlier.

The pictures showing the full piece are taken against a window that had rain drops on it.

Measures 11.5" x 19"

This will be professionally packed and Insurance will be included in the shipping price.
