A stunning set of six Art Nouveau spoons in their original fitted box. Each of these exceptional spoons features a lovely tulip on the handle and a second tulip on the crest. The design is flawlessly executed throughout. These are perfect for that special coffee or tea. The spoons are hallmarked on the back with the German hallmark, the 800 silver mark, and the makers hallmark. These were made in Germany after 1886 by Karl Kaltenbech & Sohne and sold by A. Riethmiiller of Zurich.
The spoons are in very good condition with expected wear for their age (see photos). The box is sturdy, with the hinges and catch in very good working condition. There are some scratches to the finish of the box, and the satin on the inside is torn at the hinges (see photos).
Each spoon is 5-3/4” in length and 1-3/16” in width. The box measures 7-1/16” by 3-3/4” by 1-9/16”. The spoons weigh approximately 105 grams in total.
