This perfect, sterling cuff is a rare Bernice Goodspeed, who arrived in Mexico in 1930 as a writer and began creating jewelry with her husband Carl Pappe. Her surviving pieces are hard to find and highly collectable. This very heavy cuff is pre-1948, before the eagle assay was instituted.
This piece is in amazing condition. Someone obviously took very good care with it. The interior surface is pristine and there are no dings, dents or scratches, which is rare in a piece this old.
It is larger than the usual Taxco pieces, at 7.5" total. It's very heavy, well-made, sturdy and not at all adjustable.
