A really charming, late Victorian Irish souvenir picture pendant, on chain.
The pendant locket holds a period image of The Parade, Portstewart, in County Derry; showing 4 ladies strolling in leg o' mutton sleeve blouses & long black skirts, accompanied by 3 gents. So typical of the Victorian love of a day at the seaside.
The outer frame has decorative beading and faux turquoise, pearl and a paste stone.
Suspended from a short 14.5" antique base metal chain, with bolt ring fastener.
In good antique condition; there is a missing faux turquoise stone to bottom right of frame and no glass in the back of the pendant.
Very collectable and a lovely period souvenir pendant.
