A beautiful, antique Edwardian rectangular shaped locket, c1910.
Stamped GOLD BACK & FRONT and has been jeweller tested as 9ct.
Skilfully chased detail to front and back of case, includes a vacant cartouche 'ribbon' to front so that initials may be engraved if desired.
Fixed ring to top has a base metal jump ring (which is soldered closed) with a gold coloured metal jump ring topping it.
Interior has a frame to right side, no glass to either.
Locket has a secure snap closure.
Measurements: 1.25" by 0.75" (including fittings) or 33m by 20mm.
In good antique condition; there is a small indentation to back of case (top left of gold back & front cartouche) which is not obvious within chased design but can be felt and seen under close scrutiny (also seen to inner case).
Will look super in wear on a nice gold chain.
