A beautiful Victorian 9ct rose gold mounted cameo brooch, circa 1900.
The cameo, in hand carved shell, depicts the goddess Flora, who represents flowers, fertility and spring.
The rose gold frame is stamped 9ct to base of frame at back (see image 5).
The brooch fittings; hinge, pin and 'c' catch are base metal......they are in good working order.
Measurements: 48mm by 35mm.
In good antique condition; some minor stress lines to shell can only be detected when held up to the light (see photos).
A wonderful gift for a loved one or to wear oneself.
