Just in is this Spanish Dancer Doll, probably from the 1930's to the 1950's period. It seems to me to resemble the "KLUMPE" dolls but not marked. I have 2 of them myself and both have the paper tags sewn on the clothes. this has nothing so I can only ASSUME from the comparison of mine to this one that it "Might" be KLUMPE.
As you see from the photos it is very well constructed and there was great attention to detail with this one. I have even shown how well sewn and layered the clothing is on the doll which you can see from the photos under the skirts. Granted it does have some fading to the color of the dress, but most dolls of this age do have that. The workmanship is beautiful on here and even the features of the face are very well painted.
She is 10 1/2" tall and I see there are no tears even in the net shawl or ruffles of the skirt.
She will need a little clean up as I just got here out of a collection so I am offering her at a great price. Email me with any questions you might have.
