Super old cafe curtains. These more than likely hung at a kitchen window and I can only assume they are from the WWI to WWII era as I have no exact way of telling you just how old they are. They are in remarkable shape with only a few holes on or near the edges. They are hemmed on all sides with one of them being hemmed in a loop so the curtain rod could pass through for hanging. Each curtain is 33 1/2" long by 23" wide: perfect for your window in a period kitchen as they would fit into many types of decor including the 1950's red and white kitchens. There are some stains in them as well but a good washing and pressing would bring them back to life. My mother got GREAT results by putting delicate things like this into a pillow case and then sealing it up with safety pins. This saved the garment she wanted washed and then she could iron it.
