There's nothing prettier than a JUNE BRIDE! Here we have a Madame Alexander 10" Cissette dressed as a ROCOCO BRIDE in the "Brides through the Ages Collection" from 1998. Her Gown is BLUSH PINK - which is all the rage for brides right NOW! I know, because I just went bridal gown shopping with my own daughter - the most popular gowns are in pinks and blues!
Cissette is just lovely in her PINK silk & lace wedding gown embellished with gorgeous fancy trims, embroidered lace and rhinestones. Her dress is lined in blush colored silk with an overlay of the most gorgeous lace net and lace trim at her cuffs, collar and waist. There is an embroidered rhinestone covered decoration at the front and poufy pink silk at the waist. She has an ornate lace "trail" coming from her back bustle and her veil is 2 layers of tulle with scalloped and ruffled lace edge. She has pearls and pink roses in her hair which is pulled up into a bun on top of her head and also set in a pony tail at the side. Underneath she wears a tulle slip with lace trimmed pantaloons, silk stockings and gold shoes (missing the heels) with pink ribbons. She is all vinyl with nice painting, grey-blue eyes, a "beauty" mark (like Marie Antoinette) and a rose red pert mouth. She also has her bouquet of pink & white flowers.
She has been part of my personnel Madame Alexander Collection for many years and is in her original marked Box (with all her papers, hang ties, etc.)
