There's nothing prettier than a JUNE BRIDE! Here we have a Madame Alexander 10" Cissette dressed as a VICTORIAN BRIDE in the "Brides through the Ages Collection" from 1998. Her Gown is BLUE - which is all the rage for brides right NOW! I know, because I just went bridal gown shopping with my own daughter - the most popular gowns are in pinks and blues!
Cissette is just lovely in her BLUE silk taffeta wedding gown embellished with gorgeous laces and rhinestones. The dress is fashioned in the Gibson style with two-toned blue & silver bows at her shoulders, hips and back (with a white rose). Her beautiful trailing "cape" is made of the same blue patterned fabric as her dress and begins with the biggest BOW you have ever seen at the bustle with layers of ruffled lace! Her veil is 2 layers of tulle set off by a garland of blue roses pinned in her wonderful Gibson-style hairdo. Underneath she wears her lace trimmed pantaloons and blue satin heels. She is all vinyl with nice painting and a rose red pert mouth. She also has her bouquet of blue flowers (forget-me-knots?).
She has been part of my personnel Madame Alexander Collection for many years and is Mint In Box (with all her papers, hang ties, etc.)
-You will just LOVE this sweet bride for your own collection OR nice for a bride-to be!!
*There were 3 brides in this collection - Victorian Bride, Rococo Bride and Empire Bride. I have TWO FOR SALE. At this price, why not buy them both??
