An attractive 1920's engine turned sterling silver match case / match safe or vesta case.
The silver case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1929, sterling silver, maker likely Wilmot Manufacturing company, with a full gilt interior.
This lovely case has a central design which could be a monogram however looks like a pattern, from the art deco period it is typically engine turned in design and for almost a hundred years old it is in great condition.
There is some wear to the gilt lining but more than commensurate with age.
An attractive piece approx 1.7" width and 2.5" height.
