An incredible antique sterling silver novelty pin cushion and ring tree by Adie and Lovekin.
A scarce antique piece it is modelled as a perching parrot on a tree / branch.
The parrot perched at the top has a small pin cushion within and the branches are ring holders, to hold your favourite rings whilst sewing.
The ring holder sections swivel around and are not fixed for ease of holding and removing the rings.
The parrot is highly detailed and has one small green gem eye, originally two but one is missing.
The base is weighted and fully hallmarked for Adie and Lovekin, Birmingham 1907.
Good used condition overall, missing one paste eye, some light surface wear and patina.
1.25" diameter base
Weighs approx 21.40 grams
