A Vintage 1940s mens military, British Army issue safari jacket.
It is smart in style, designed for warmer climates, it is thick cut but unlined in a light khaki green.
It is quite fitted with not much room in the measurements.
The shoulder epaulettes have some holes in where they were previously decorated but no longer are.
There are the original brass buttons, some displaying a gauntlet with RAB and others with the words East Riding of Yorkshire and the coat of arms.
It has belt loops and flares out slightly from the waist, it is short sleeved.
It has seen some use and has some wear as a result but it is very well made and strong.
It is unlabelled.
Good used condition overall, some holes in the shoulder epaulettes from decoration, some fade to the colour, some light brown marks near the side and pocket area, a few loose threads, buttons could do with tightening.
10" sleeve length
19" shoulder to shoulder
