A beautiful antique fine silver ladies pocket watch, made by the well known watchmakers Kendal and Dent.
Late Victorian era c1900, this watch was made at Buren for Kendal and Dent so is a Swiss made watch, the case is made from fine silver 935 and stamped with the lion passant, 0.935 and Swiss import mark.
It is very finely engraved on the back of the case with a scrolling floral design and a central cartouche which is monogrammed with an A.
The outer case and dust cover both open and close easily and smoothly.
The white enamel dial is marked with Kendal and Dent, made at Buren and has lovely delicate floral enamelling either side of the hands.
It has Roman numerals, two keys, one for setting and one for winding, it winds nicely and ticks away keeping time well, tested over a 24 hour period with no issues.
Very beautiful pocket watch in excellent condition.
