A lovely vintage solid sterling silver trophy, two handled, not loaded or weighted just silver made in the 20's by the renowned Mappin and Webb.
The best thing about this stylish silver trophy is that in all its years it has never been engraved, it has no inscriptions or monograms and is ready to personalise!
Fully hallmarked at the top of the trophy for Sterling (lion passant), Sheffield (crown) and the date letter for 1923.
In almost 100 years this piece has never been engraved, it is in good vintage condition, the silver is nice and lustrous, the opening is a slightly off oval shape but it was made this way, there is a tiny ding on the back.
The base is also marked with Mappin and Webb, Sheffield.
A fantastic piece, approx 4" width and 7" height, it weighs 97.74 grams.
