A lovely Victorian oil lamp with a beautiful enamelled milk glass reservoir with low relief accents moulded in the glass and a floral pattern.
The milk glass base is a creamy beige and the floral design is in colourful yet muted tones, in keeping with the entire design, the fitments are made from brass
The lamp is a double burner and each thumb wheel is marked duplex and enameled in black, the wicks have been removed and the reservoir cleaned for transportation.
It has a glass chimney shade fitted to the top, this slots in and out of the brass fitting and holds well, the base of the lamp is made from heavy cast iron with a decorative shape and relief decoration.
In very good antique condition, some wear and rusting to the cast iron base, some very minor areas of enamel wear but overall for the age very good.
A beautiful antique piece!
Would look beautiful in any place in the house.
