An exceptional and fine quality part tea service, a rare collection of early 20th century Wedgwood.
The set is embodied by a rich and decadent claret ground base with beautiful gilt accents making this an extra luxe collection and made from the finest quality bone china.
Each piece is individually marked with the Wedgwood / urn and 3 stars mark with the addition of England which was introduced in the late 19th century.
The tureen has a beautiful gilt accent stylised knop, all teacups are gilt edged including the handles, the saucers and side plates have gilt edged rims and the the cake plates are a square form with low relief moulded handles and gilt accents.
This is an early 20th century set and comprises of 26 pieces as follows:
11 side plates - 5.5" diameter
6 saucers - 5.5" diameter
1 sugar bowl - 3" height / 5" diameter
5 teacups - 2.5" height / 3" diameter
2 cake plates - 10" width / 9" length
1 Tureen - 5" height / 10" diameter
