A stunning Georgian cut glass decanter of slight mallet form, with the original, starburst mushroom glass stopper.
The decanter is very heavy and solid it has an attractive gadrooned decoration towards the top of the bottle.
It is a very nice piece of Georgian glassware, designed to hold a more heavy tipple such as Port or Sherry but could also be used for wine or even a nice cool homemade lemonade or water.
It would look beautiful on the dining table or the drinks cabinet.
It is in good antique condition with no chips or cracks to the decanter, some small surface chips on the stopper and some naturally occurring bubbles and surface scratches.
Approx 10" height including stopper and 13" circumference at the widest point.
