A Beautiful antique Victorian era tea glass holder, designed to hold a glass inside and not necessarily just for tea.
The craftsmanship that has gone into this piece is incredible, it is highly decorative and has a hand chased all over design of foliate nature, leaves surround a central shield shaped cartouche which is monogrammed.
The monogram is in fancy lettering and looks to be the letters JEP, though I could be wrong.
It is a very nice quality silver plate and is overall in excellent condition, no dings, dents or loss of plate.
Marked on the underside with D&A (EPNS) Daniel and Arter, silver makers, Birmingham and the serial number.
Approx 2.5" height and 6" circumference.
