A beautiful early Victorian gilt brass ink stand, incredible design, solid brass.

This incredibly detailed piece with repousse mask feet and putti and scrolling foliate in relief, even the lids are detailed, the pen tray has a lovely scrolled foliate design.

There is an area to store paper scroll or it could be used to keep letters or envelopes.

The gilding of the brass is in fantastic condition and shows no fade, it is an incredibly grand piece.

Overall it is in fantastic antique condition with little sign of wear commensurate with its age, it dates from the early Victorian period Circa 1840's.

This grand English antique would definitely take pride of place on any desk.

It does not come with any inkwells though these could be easily replaced with inkwells of your choice.

Approx measurements:
12.5" width
8" length
7.5" height (including inkwells)
