A beautiful and highly decorative Victorian counter balance for a rise and fall pendant light.

It is very heavy and very pretty, it has a gilded brass finial and gilt foliate and floral design in slight relief on the cream earthenware body.

The gilding is in good condition with some wear but it is still lovely and gold and all of the floral detailing can be seen clearly, the earthenware is glazed with a clear glaze which shows some crazing but not on the porcelain itself, the screw top where the balance is filled has some cracks but this has been repaired and the repair is pretty solid.

A beautiful piece.

Measurements are approx:
8" diameter at the widest point.
3" width
8" length
