A very attractive men's antique stud box, crafted from real ebony and sterling silver.
Designed to be kept on the dressing table to hold ones shirt studs and possibly other small pieces.
It has the word studs in sterling silver along with two decorative engraved silver cartouches, it is hallmarked in several places on the silver, there is a small monogram at the bottom DMJ.
Made in 1901 in London, very beginning of the Edwardian era by HF Daltrey and Co.
Lovely smooth rich ebony in very good antique condition overall.
Approx 1.1" height and 2.2" diameter.
