A beautiful cheroot holder late 1910's early 1920's likely of Turkish import into England.
It has been crafted from a a highly decorative silver filigree, which has the greatest attention to detail, the mouthpiece is made from a butterscotch amber.
It is in a used vintage condition there are signs of use particularly on the mouthpiece but it is in relatively good condition for the age, the delicate silver filigree has had a repair at some point but this is not very noticeable.
There are no marks (maybe due to the repair) but the cheroot tests as silver.
Approx 3.1" length
It comes in the original box.
