The world renowned children's book from the world renowned author Walter Crane!
Published in 1877 (1st) by George Routledge and Sons.
This one of a range of books in a similar style written by Walter Crane, baby's opera is as noted by the author old nursery rhymes in New dresses, songs from the old masters.
The other books being the baby's own aesop and baby's bouquet.
Beautifully illustrated throughout.
Red board binding, the spine on the book is weak and has come away at the sides, still all attached but with much fraying, it has some tape repairs on tears throughout and at the front there are some crayon drawings done by children.
Possibility to restore the book is still good but not necessary.
Pardoning the above defects mentioned the pages are nice and strong.
This is a highly collectable book and commands a much higher price in mint condition.
