Fantastic pair of WW1 spy or field glasses, British military property.
Enamelled brass with a tan leather binding.
A lovely little piece of history used to spy on the enemy.
They appear to still be in working order and have been tested by eye but not further, they are in a used antique condition and show signs of wear but just a little paint chipping from the metal, lenses are relatively clear.
They extend and retract well.
They are French made By Deroy fabt, Paris.
They bear the broad arrow mark on the arms when extended and have the mk no. On the other side.
Approx 5" length (not extended)
2" lense diameter
