fantastic antique etui pendant or chatelaine charm.
This unusual and intriguing piece dates from the late Georgian to early Victorian period.
It is crafted from blackened brass and has inset turquoise colored stones, 4 of these stones are actually sliders and when you slide them down they cause a tool to retract from the etui.
There are 4 different tools concealed within this beauty; a propelling pencil, a button hook, a toothpick and a small fruit knife.
A fantastic and unique piece all of the tools slide out with ease and are in relatively good condition given the age.
There are a number of the turquoise stones missing but this in no way detracts from this wonderful piece.
Would work well used as a pendant or a chatelaine charm.
Approx 6.5 cm length and 2 cm width
