A very beautiful antique, 19th century 18ct gold half hunter pocket watch.
Finely engraved outer case with a small vacant cartouche to the back so could be personalised to gift.
Engraved with flora, the wind is not gold but the entire case and top loop are 18ct.
The first inner case is stamped 18k and has an inscription inside for December 18th 1893.
The dial is a white enamel, clear and clean with Roman numerals.
It is a top wind, pin set fob watch, marked to the innermost case with the Swiss Helvetia head mark for 18ct gold and stamped 18k, Guivre brand watch.
This stunning little watch is in good working order checked over a 24 hour period and keeps time well.
Approx 1.5" width of the watch, 2" height with loop, weight 35.94 grams
Good condition overall, working, minor loss to the black enamel numerals on the outer case.
