A substantial 19th century antler cigar cutter.
English make from a full young stag antler and with a large steel cutter, late 19th century.
Antler mounted cutters later became a popular in Germany especially in the early to mid 20th century, they were usually made with part antler though rather than full.
This is a particularly nice example.
There is some wear to the steel and ageing but still strong, antler is in nice condition.
Approx 8" length and 3" width.
