Wonderful antique doll head by Simon Halbig

She is a darling doll. She is painted beautifully. She has delicate upper and lower lashes and raised perfectly feathered brows. She has wonderfully blushed cheeks and accent lines on her lips. She has pierced ears. She has a couple of minor flaws in her bisque. She has a fine and very faint scratch high on her forehead. I believe this was a scratch original to her while she was being green in her greenware stage, It is very hard to see. I had to blow up her picture large so you could see it. She has a small darker spot on her ear a very light rub on one cheeks. Her body has had some patching and it has been repainted. Her body is very sturdy and strung tight. She originally had a crier. Her dress is gorgeous. It is trimmed with unique crochet accents. Her head was made by Simon Halbig for the Franz Schmidt & Company she is marked only S&C. She is 22" tall .She is a beautiful doll.
