This is a great looking EARLY circa 1902-03 mission arts and crafts GUSTAV STICKLEY Arm Rocker in excellent condition. The chair is made from a great selection of oak and it is very heavy duty heavy wood with a great original finish. The original seat and back cushion have been recovered with a top quality black hand-rubbed leather filled with cotton and hair. (Not Cheap Foam) The seat is on top of a cotton webbing and not cheap plywood like you see most dealers use. We use a very high-quality leather from Germany and if you compare our seats to the other dealers you will see the difference. We try and make the furniture as time period correct as we can and also we make the seats very comfortable. Each arm is with a through tenon and pinned construction. The chair is an early one with U top and you can see this model in the reprint of the Gustav Stickley catalog. The chair is with early decal as pictured. The rocker is very heavy, STURDY and STRONG, and also with no repaired or replaced parts.

We offer investment quality furniture ready to enjoy in your home.‎
We do not sell furniture with all the problems typical with "As Is" auctions and estate purchases such ‎as:‎

Veneer issues (veneer lifting, missing, or veneer repairs)‎
Structural problems
Missing or replaced parts
Amateur glue and finish work.

We utilize a restoration technician who employs traditional methods and materials.‎
Furniture NOT properly restored does not protect your investment when you decide to sell it in the ‎future.‎
We guarantee every piece we sell 100%, all the work is done properly to ensure you will enjoy your ‎purchase for many years to come.‎

We do not sell furniture in estate condition. We have a professional artist that works on the furniture and makes it in perfect condition again. The hide glue used 100 years ago does not hold, so our artist reglues everything to look and feel like brand new. These items are in great condition and ready for use in your home! (Unless a defect is noted in the description)
