This is an antique L&JG Stickley plant stand from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition. The piece is made of quarter sawn oak with an old refinish. It has nice form and is very thick and heavy. There is no damage aside from typical wood separation in the interior from moisture. It is marked with a brass tag and is very decorative and usable.
PLEASE NOTE: We offer only PERIOD REAL Stickley A&C items from the early 1900s, we see all around many listing of REPRODUCTION Stickley AUDI around offering as STICKLEY. These furniture have nothing to do with Stickley. In early 1970s L&jG Stickley wife sold the name "Stickley" and these furnitures
they build in the style of Stickley but NOT the same and have no value if you want to sell them one day.
For an instant, GUSTAV STICKLEY builds MORRIS chair with thru-tenon construction on the arms and the bottom front and the sides where these repros they just cut a pc of wood and glue the pc on the arms to fool the buyer.
