Naturally mined Alexandrites are extremely rare and one of the most expensive precious stones in the word. The have a unique chameleon shine and depending on light appear to be anything from mild green to purple, blue or pink.
This particular ring is set with a man-made Alexandrite, which is nevertheless as beautiful and as captivating as a natural one.
A buttercup setting of the crown is highly elevated and gives this rare stone a very fine frame it deserves. The rose gold shank is rather substantial (overall weight is 3.5g) and is in a very good condition - its virtually as-new with no grinding or discoloration.
This gem will make a great gift for the rare gemstones collectors and those with an affinity to clean and classy designs.
