A very old and sturdy French ring! Coming from a private collection in Belgium, this ring can be attributed to early 19th century and is originally coming from Normandy.
The rosy gold band has an unusual double body and is formed by a spiral lace curving around your finger. The crown has a beautiful geometric design formed by two square elements located on the sides of the central element.
The center of the composition is set with purple amethyst glass accented with a tiny crystal rock in it`s center. The whole centerpiece is set in diagonal, which gives this design a lot of movement and lightness.
This ring was custom made in early 1800`s and hence bears no hallmarks. It was tested positively for 14K gold using a professional goldsmith equipment.
