Vintage Danish designer gold-plated silver necklace with guilloche enamel pendant in Egyptian revival style. Made by renowned Danish silversmith Nils Erik Elvik, who worked in Denmark, Oslo from 1853 -1935. Collectors` item.
This rare necklace is attributed to the mid-1920-1930s, when the Western worlds` obsession with Exotic scarabs and lotus blossoms of the ancient Egypt and is a fine example of a revival jewelry of Art Deco era.
This unique gem is crafted in 925 (pendant) and 830 (chain) silver and plated with 9 carat gold. It features a beautifully preserved pendant depicting a golden lotus flower on a black glossy enamel background. The outer perimeter is decorated with a sky-blue guilloche enamel and undamaged gold plated decorative Art Deco elements.

Pendant dimensions: 3.5 x 2 cm (widest parts);
Metal: 830 silver - chain, 935 silver - pendant, all parts are gold-plated with 9 carat gold;
Enamel: blue - guilloche, black - glossy surface;
Hallmarks: chain - 830s + NME; pendant - NORGE + 925S + 'N' letter in a horse shoe;
The necklace is in outstanding vintage condition. The enamel is in it`s unworn state and there is no wear to the pendant`s gold-plated decoration. It looks like the necklace was stored in a cabinet for all these years.
