This burnished gold and warm brown vase is from Clément Massier, who brought talented artists and ceramicists into his Golf Juan France studio in the Art Nouveau era. Chief among them was Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer, an established artist who joined Massier in 1887. The vase has a hairline that runs down the inside from the rim and two small chips on the base. The bottom of the vase is impressed with “Clement Massier Golf Juan A.M. L. Levy.” It is 7” (17.8 cm) tall and 3 ½” (8.9 cm) diameter at the base.
