This porcelain jar takes the form of a blond-haired deco lady with long lashes. The lidded piece goes by many names – bonbonnière and trinket/boudoir/dresser/powder jar or box. It is 5” (12.7 cm) tall. It is marked Paradis Paris, Made in France, 100. Paradis was a studio operating in Paris during the Art Deco era that specialized in these miniature figural pieces. The powder jar is in excellent condition, with the exception of light paint rubs on the base. It is c.1925.
