On offer is this lovely collectible coffee pot. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - there is a notable area of ware to one side and various specs all over where the base nickel silver is showing through but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.
It has a traditional rounded form which has been beautifully decorated with an engraved design featuring floral swags and patterns. To one side there is also an impressive engraved monogram.
I particularly like the hinged lid which retains original ball finial.
The underside is marked for Walker and Hall with a patent handle and a Victorian lozenge which would date this coffee pot to circa 1870's/ 1880's.
It measures 20cm (8 inches) in length from handle to spout, 19cm (7 and 1/2 inches) in height to the top of the ball finial and is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again.
