On offer is this lovely collectible elegant tea set/ service. It's in really good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still all over - there are a few light areas of ware where the base Britannia metal is starting to come through but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm and character of the set.
They each have an oval rounded shape which have been beautifully decorated with a busy floral swag and "C" scroll pattern - the detailing is superb especially with bright cut highlights.
The teapot retains its original finial which is still looking great.
Sheffield produced circa late 19th century by Francis Howard.
To give an idea of size the teapot measures 27cm (10 and 1/2 inches) in length from handle to spout and 15cm (6 inches) in height.
A delightful Victorian elegant tea service ready to be collected and enjoyed once again.
