A gorgeous set of 5 French kitchen tin nesting canisters made in the 1930s. They have the typical Lustucru checkerboard design which was name after a pasta company which used this checkerboard design on their packaging. These canisters were premium or incentive received by consumers for buying Lustucru products.
They are so beautiful with a vintage patina that imitation will never be able to reproduce. A Lovely and nostalgic french country decoration.
The 5 canisters were designed to store from the largest to the smallest: Sugar, Flour, Coffee, Tea and Spices.
Condition: These canisters are in good vintage condition with normal sign of usage with very limited amount of rust. The tin boxes were really dirty and yellow when I got them so I gently cleaned them. The result is an uneven color because I didn't want to damage them, and I wanted them to keep their vintage look.
