An exceptional large French enamel pitcher made by Japy in the 1920s/ 1930s. It has a blue background and features lovely hand painted daffodils flowers which creates a nice relief in an Art Nouveau style. The golds lines and accent makes it very chic. A small piece of the original sticker is still present under the beak, but could removed. A beautiful accent for a country or shabby chic decor.
I have the matching enamel pail with lid also available for sale in my boutique.
Condition: This water pitcher is in very good vintage condition with very limited enamel chip and rust. There is a bit of rust on the bottom inside the pitcher and we can see a few chips have been restored, the largest one being seen in Picture 5. The inside is very clean and white. The pitcher has no holes but a little bit of water is sweating from the front. This could be fixed with some silicone.
