A gorgeous Ironstone cake stand with a pink transfer ware made by the French company "Faience de Gien" in the late 1800s. It has a stamp on its feet with the name of the maker as well as the name of the pattern: "Bouquet de Roses" which translates to "Roses bouquet". That pattern has received a first prize during a national competition.
A beautiful addition to a shabby chic or country kitchen. I also have the sauce boat from the same collection as seen on picture 4, available in my Ruby Lane boutique.
Condition: This cake stand is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are very limited marking inside the plate and just a bit of discoloration on some area of the top rim (Picture 2).
♥ Antique ironstone is not dishwasher safe and must be washed by hand ♥
